Dear Area 51,
I came to Area last night (May 10th) for the first time for a friend’s birthday bash last night, and I just wanted to let you know how amazing the two guys working the refreshment bar upstairs were. Aside from being very polite and courteous whenever I had a question, there came a point when my wallet fell out of my pocket. These two did an outstanding job in helping me find it, even though I’m sure its not a required part of their job. You’ve got two wonderful employees in them! (And I did eventually find my wallet with everything still in it, BTW).

Will.a birth certificat work to get in
Hi kenzi – no I’m afraid a birth certificate won’t work as far as legal id. the acceptable government issued id must be government issued as well as have a photo.

Hi Chris – entry is $5 for those 21 and over and it’s $7 for 18 to 20 year olds. :)
i signed up for the free VIP.. How do i use it? Just tell someone at the door?
You should just show up on an eligible night with your ID so our staff can check off your name. It must match the name you signed up with too.
Just FYI… Hey, just wanted to let you know that you have some really FANTASTIC employees!! My friend and I came to Utah for some shopping and fun. We ended up at Area 51 and, unfortunately, my friend locked her keys in her car. We were talking about it while waiting to get in the club. One of the guys at the door told us to find “Mike”. We found him at the soda bar and he agreed to help us get into our car. He spent about 2 hours trying with his son and daughter without luck. He and his family were nice enough to give us a ride to Draper, so we wouldn’t have to call a cab… WAY out of their way. They were so awesome! They even bought some hot chocolate to warm us up! They were just awesome and we were very fortunate! Thanks for having fantastic, fun employees!

My roommate only has a school ID. Can he at least get into the 18+ side with that??

Sorry, a school ID doesn’t work – it has to be government issued like a passport or driver’s license (a school is a private institution so legally we can’t take it as proof).
HI, I was in for fetish night in January and while i was on stage there were 2 photographers taking many pictures of me. I was wondering what there website was or if you have the photos somewhere online. I know that they are Club scene photographers that are usually hired for special occasions. and I would really enjoy the chance to see how my light shows turned out on their 35mm cameras. they were also taking snap shots of the dance artist on stage, if that may help locate their page. Thank you!!

So I just wanted to ask because I have gotten a lot of different information.
Are ladies free only on Thursday? Or is it Fridays too?
Because We are wanting to come to area tonight and were told its free before 10pm today too, but I don’t see it on the page.

Hi Terra,
Currently our ladies night is Thursdays before 10pm. Friday’s, and Saturday’s are regular cover ($5 for 21+ and $7 for 18-20yrs). Wednesday there is no charge but it’s only 21+.
