All we need to do is cover our costs.
We know that this is EASY to pull of when you have a cool and excited group who want to party!
So here is how you get to host a mind blowing gathering event at no
cost to you… Its ridiculously simple, and we know you are going to like it.

1 – Your guests pay whatever cover you specify. (one dollar, ten dollars, whatever you want)
2 – At the end of the day, you get your entire deposit back from the cover charge above.
3 – No catch. If our costs are covered, so are yours.

Its so simple its almost stupid.
So choose your party package, and make your big bash happen for free!

As long as its simple, and you are willing to get here early to set up your area with whatever bling / schwag you want to bring along, then we are  happy to help out if we can :)

Here is what we can do, and what we can’t:

1 – This is a courtesy because we love you,,, so you will need to be responsible for the following

• You do not need to call ahead or interact with the club before the night of your arrival, BUT,
• YOU WILL NEED TO ARRIVE AT 9pm!
• We will not be able to get you set up once the club begins to fill up with people, as at that point our staff will be occupied
• Bring any decorations or props (etc) that you want to include with you at this time.
• Again, arrive at 9pm, so we can work with you for your special night :)

2 – Since this is a courtesy to our awesome guests and is free of charge, it is not a guarantee of reserved space. See below

• This service may not be available during special events. (E.G. Fetish ball, etc)
• This service will not be available during major holidays (E.G. New years and Halloween, etc)

3 – Cover still applies

• All guests will still need to pass the front door in the normal way. This includes the following
• Government issued ID
• Applicable cover charge

4 – “Are there ways for me and my guests to get in for free?”

• Yup! We offer several promotions that are geared toward exactly that!
• You can encourage them to “Get Freaky for Free” by registering here in this website, and they can use their “free freaky’ness” to attend your party. Just give them this link.

Booking your small event at AREA 51 guarantees you a full staff for the downstairs bar and lounge, including bar tender, security, door man, and access to the video and audio equipment for your party or presentation. You may add a DJ or entertainer to this package, or bring your own. We
will set up to accommodate you.

This bar features beautiful neo-classical decor, pool tables, bar seating, table seating and
a comfortable lounge area complete with couches and chandelier.

If you wish, your guests can make up the cost of your deposit with the door cover, and
you will get this elegant and memorable environment for free!

This package + services requires a deposit of $495 to cover its costs.

This selection includes full access to all of the amenities of a ’small’ booking, (above) but triples your service / entertainment space! A medium booking gives you complete control of the large second dance/audience area for your Bands and DJs including your plush ruby red social area. Your second party room is fully seated and mood lit… and we will also throw in the spacious patio to use as you choose for anything from barbecue to a mini swimming pool.

Aside from your neo-classical and highly stylized bar area where your excited friends and party people will be mingling, your dance floor will enjoy all the amenities our full sound system and automated inelegant light show can hit them with. You will now have the option to create and entertain in two environments if you wish, as there is DJ and audio gear set up in both areas. We can set up to receive your entertainers, or you may add two of ours with an additional $200 in deposit (or 1 for $100). This will also come back to you after your door cover has matched it. Your deposit will be returned to you after it is made up at the door by your guests!

We are on board! this package includes service for as many as you can pack in!
Your guests will pay for your BIG bash with their attendance, and you will enjoy the full spectrum of services and amenities AREA 51 has to offer. Both levels will be yours, including both bars, all the seating you can handle, both patios, all three dance ready areas including the massive upstairs floor complete with more than seventy thousand dollars in intelligent lighting and sound gear to dazzle your attendees with your star entertainers.

Want to keep your hands clean and let take care of the entertainment? We can provide you with one of our veteran performers who have been killing it for over a decade. Huge musical selection and fantastic technical and crowd pleasing skills included for only $200 bucks included in your deposit… And you get that back too, after your raving fans cover your costs!

If your event is going to be an enormous money maker and you need “Mega Club” facilities equipped with prime location and a reputation that salt lake knows and trusts, then this is for you.

If you want to rent out AREA 51 during one of our nights of operation you can. Its not cheap, as they are our bread and butter, but it’s absolutely possible. Pricing begins at $10,377 as the offset cost, but afterward your event will have complete and total support from all staff, talent and technicians. This includes preperation, piggy-back promotion, decoration, sound, lighting, stage programming, and all the rest. We can pull off just about any event you can imagine, and will go out of the way to fulfill any special needs you might have. You will be glad you chose to work with AREA 51 for your event, as we are both hospitable and qualified.

All proceeds generated will be yours, minus product costs incurred.

Come in to Area 51 Saturday to experience SLC’s best alternative mix! This night features a variety of the best alternative, alterna-rock, and aggressive tech. From the Shiny Toy Guns to Marilyn Manson we’ve got something to dance to for just about everyone. – Step inside the bar and treat yourself to featured drinks like $3 Sex on the Beach & $3 Kamikazes.

Then step outside to the giant patio and socialize in the nighttime air. Doors open at 9pm for you to start rocking out.

There’s also hookahs all night for $5. Doors open at 9, so start your night off fresh & fun with featured drinks including $3 Sex on the Beach as well as $3 Kamikaze shooters .

Salt Lakes best 80’s night EVER! Thursday night at Area 51 brings you all the awesome-ness of the 80’s with totally danceable hits from Madonna, Erasure, Depeche Mode and more!
