Is there and industrial or hardcore edm ever played on these nights? I absolutly love this music and love to spin it personaly just wondering if its a big thing or not. thx for your time :)

Hey Korri – glad you’ve found out about us! 18-20 folks are more than welcome to come and play here Thursday (80’s Insanity), Friday (SL, UT night), and Saturday (Alternamix). Both dance floors (upstairs and downstairs) are available for you to get your dance on ;) The only limitation is the bar areas where you must be 21 or over.

I like going to this club a lot. I do feel safe and its really fun. My only complaint is that the music on saturdays seems to tend towards Gothic style. and for those who like hip hop or something punky to shake it too, its kind of a downer… can you request music? and if you do will it actually get played?
Thanks for the feedback @Adeena :) Saturdays is themed towards more alternative tracks but we do play some hip hop. There is a request list tho playing a request is dependent on whether or not the DJ actually has the track that you want to hear.
How much does it cost to go in/
Hi Ana – our cover is $7 for those 18-20yrs and $5 for 21+. Also Thursdays is our Ladies Night so ladies get in free before 10pm :)
hey, i was wondering if when it says ladies free before 10 means all ladies. I’m from a differnt state and when they say ladies are free before a certain time it only means the 21+. so my question was does that mean only 21+ are free or ALL ladies. .. ?

All ladies that are 18 or older are FREE to enter our club. We do have bar areas that you must be 21 or above to enter but the dance floors are 18+.

Hello! I’ve never been to Area 51 before but would like to know what ladies are expected to wear there (especially on Saturdays). Would you please tell me? And do you have to dance well? Lol. There really isn’t a specific dress code for our club but we do love it when our patrons “dress up” as it were. There are also a variety of themed nights to inspire creative outfits – just check out Area 51 on Facebook for what’s going on so you can plan accordingly.
As for dancing – just come and let the music move you however you feel, or just enjoy at a table with friends and a good drink! However you get your groove on is fine with us, be it on the floor or just tapping your toes on a bar stool :)
People come here for a variety of reasons – to enjoy phenomenal music, weirdly cool people, and intriguing beverages, just to name a few.

You must have come on a Fetish Ball event. This night is a special event and works a bit differently than a normal Saturday night. There are passes available at the door every night of the month before the Fetish Ball and usually in both “City Weekly” and “IN This Week” papers, so you can bring in the ad from either one.
all the music is very good but maybe you have a track list off the fridays and saturdays .i love it .thank you.

What a fun place! I was visiting from out of town and my buddy wanted to go. I’m a terrible music snob, so I’m always sceptical of larger clubs with DJs. I’m also very leary of ‘all age’ venues. I dislike going places with kids old enough to be mine. I have to say that I had a blast. The staff were terrific, the djs were very accomodating to my requests to play older stuff, and the drinks weren’t terribly expensive. Fun place, if judging by the terrific hangover I had the next day is any indicator. It reminded me a bit of the clubs back in LA during the 80s.
Hell yeah! Fabulous to hear you had a very good time here :) And don’t worry, some of us staff are kind of music snobs as well…that’s probably why the mixes are so good AND distinct. Would love to see you here again when you are ever back in town! Stay freakish n cool ;)

I actually spin both friday and saturday nights, and I very much enjoy both formats. ;)
the club was doing a big ol’ techno thing about 6 months ago, but I convinced them to change it up a bit by letting me play “electronic remixes” of stuff that people actually RECOGNIZE (instead of basic repetitive techno) and its been pretty cool ever since. I have yet to get a decision on how the club wants that to work…. (it was my idea, but there is still red tape since its not “my club” if ya know what I mean.)

I love going to Area51 each saturday. Used to love Fridays more until techno took over the theme of the night . . .
Anyway, all your employees are very professional and friendly. I’ve been to lots of clubs but no place has the quality of employee Area51 does, and you fetish night themes kicks butt!
I own and operate my own site and see you may someday have a link for a “pay to promote”, and would like to take advantage of that opportunity.
